 Warringah Australia Remembers Ceremony 2019

Venue: North Fort, North Head

Proceed past Cardinal Cerretti Chapel on Darley Road, through the stone gateway, taking a left at the Q Station roundabout, then turn left at the Belle Vista Cafe. Parking attendants will direct to to a parking area which is a few minutes walk to the ceremony.

If it is raining the ceremony will take place in the large hangar adjacent to the carpark.

Time: 9:30am for 10:00am

We do not rehearse before the day, so please arrive in good time to check out the words of the songs on the programme, and to allow the band leader to  brief us on introductions etc. 

The ceremony commences at 10:00am goes for about an hour. Morning tea is served afterwards.

Dress: Concert dress: All black for women, black tie for men. It can be very cold up on the headland so you will need to rug up. (thermal underwear is recommended and a dark coat would be handy.)

Music:

We can assume that we will be leading the singing of all or some of these songs: I Vow to Thee My Country, Advance Australia Fair, Royal Hymn, Song of Australia, and Land of Hope and Glory.

Please sing the words as per the programme. You will not need the printed music I gave you last week. 

We will be accompanied by the Manly Brass Band and lead by their conductor.
