The Dee Why RSL Community Support Program typically provides more than $2,000,000 in cash and in-kind support to over 100 community organisations each year. The program reaches and assists a broad scope of our local community and we are proud to be partnered with them. For more information about the support program, please visit https://www.deewhyrsl.com.au/community.
With the support of its members and the community the Club was honoured with the ‘Club of the Year’ award in 2008, 2010 & again in 2011.
The Choir has had a long association with Dee Why RSL and the club used to be the venue for our weekly rehearsals. Many choir members and friends are also members of the RSL, making good use of its restaurants and meeting spaces.
Northern Beaches Council
Northern Beaches Council sponsored the Choir in its first year of operation and again in 2019. Prior to the formation of NBC, the local councils of Manly, Warringah and Pittwater consistently awarded grants to the Choir each year, for which we are very grateful.
We are also grateful to the sponsors mentioned below, whose help allows us to continue to provide entertainment of the required high standard.
Thank you to the Manly Daily for coverage of our concerts in the weekly Arts and Music Section.
We rely on many volunteers, within and outside the choir, to provide the many support services necessary for the professional operation of the choir:
Our heartfelt thanks to John Reekie, creator of the Pittwater Spirit Community website, without whom this Manly Warringah Choir website would not be possible.
We would also like to thank the Collaroy Plateau Public School for providing the venue for our rehearsals..
